Had a chat with a student of mine yesterday. We were talking about families and
suddently it was my turn to talk a little about mine.
Thoughts were trying to form words inside my mouth and after a short moment of
awkwardness, I blunted out
I have a step mother, too...
which has been quite a big shock to me recently.
